From implant to implant-retained removable dentures

Not everyone is immediately eligible for implants. Implant Company assesses and treats the implantological part as an independent healthcare provider within our practice. Van Hoften Tandprothetiek takes care of and supervises the dental prosthetic process. You will hear in advance who carries out, bills and checks which part.

Are you looking for implant-retained removable dentures in Maastricht, Gulpen or South Limburg? During the free intake we will discuss whether implant-supported dentures suit your oral situation and which examinations are required.

This is how Van Hoften Tandprothetiek and Implant Company work together

The treatment team

Examination, possible authorization, placement, healing, production of the implant-retained removable dentures and long-term maintenance are separate parts that must be properly coordinated. You will receive a personal treatment plan and cost estimate in advance.

Invoice from Implant Company? This can be sent via Infomedics. Van Hoften Tandprothetiek has no access to that billing or payment. View the correct point of contact

The possible contact moments

  1. Introduction (intake): discuss wishes, oral situation, health, expectations and costs.
  2. First impression or scan: create an initial registration as a basis for the treatment design.
  3. Final impression or scan, if needed: accurately register the mouth for the final fit.
  4. Bite registration, if necessary: record the position, height, and mutual relationship of the jaws.
  5. Try-in, if needed: check shape, position, bite and appearance together and adjust if necessary.
  6. Fitting: place the definitive prosthesis, check it and provide maintenance explanations.
  7. Aftercare: guide adjustment, assess pressure points and adjust if necessary.

The precise route and number of appointments may differ per patient.

Aftercare

After placement, adjustment may be required. A pressure spot, pain, a sharp edge or problems with eating and speaking are reasons to contact us. Do not adjust the prosthesis yourself.

Costs and reimbursement

You will receive a written cost estimate in advance. The final reimbursement depends on your insurance or health insurance fund, policy conditions, contracting, patient contribution, deductible and any prior permission. If in doubt, always ask for written confirmation.
